it's been a while.

this keeps happening.

so yeah! basically, my life has been completely flipped upside down this past month - in a totally awesome way. I found a new job (tech support/technical documentation for the real estate company I was already working for), a new apartment (moving in with the boy and his friend, yup!), and basically a new lease on life. my friend circle is back to awesome, I'm being creative (50unexplainablestories.tumblr.…) regularly, and I'm learning. OH HOW I'M LEARNING. I'm actually going back to school pretty soon here, for law and potentially computer science. WHO KNOWS??!!

I'm also a little loopy today because I was sick all day yesterday with hardcore oyster-related food poisoning. >.>

one of the things I've decided to do this year is learn how to draw, because although drawing cats is cool and all, it'd be nice to have some basic skills in other living things. to that end, I'm going to try taking up the 100 Themes Challenge again, but without the intent of wrapping it up quickly; it's just for when I feel like taking on a drawing (or digital painting; I'm not gonna rule those out).

Hello friends!  I know I keep trying to revive this page, and although I rarely find time for art anymore, I just can't bring myself to delete it! I've made too many awesome friends here and I love the networking and inspiration it provides, so... I'm stopping by again!

This time, I wanted to let you know that I'm doing some pretty cool projects!  In general, my goal right now is to move to L.A. in a couple of years and become a TV comedy writer; in the meantime, I bought myself a HD handheld camera and have been making some fun shorts and music videos. My most recent project is this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=90GJSh…, which and I recorded, shot, and edited in under 12 hours. We're hoping to start a YouTube channel with weekly covers/original songs and music videos, each unique and fun.

Send me a message if you want to do an art trade or anything!  I'd like to actually spend some time here once in a while, but I won't be motivated just to art for myself.

Hey, all ye writers of Redwall fan-fiction! Want a chance to win some fame on the Redwall Online Community (ROC), and to hone your writing skills?
